That would be an improvement on last year as Hispania did not test at all prior to their debut campaign as they struggled to finish their inaugural car ahead of the season-opening race in Bahrain.
Hispania will initially use that car for the first three tests in Valencia, Jerez and Barcelona, before unveiling the new version at the final test in Bahrain from March 3-6 ahead of the first race at the Sakhir circuit on March 13.
Kolles, whose team failed to score a point last year, said: "The 2010 car will be utilised at the first tests, and as soon as the 2011 car is ready we will implement it.
"The plan is to use the 2011 car at the Bahrain test. It will be a completely new car and will be called F111.
"It is being made by Hispania Racing with several groups of engineers.
"At the moment there are approximately 40 designers finalising the first spec, under the leadership of Geoff Willis as technical director and Paul White as chief designer."
Hispania will employ the three Spanish tests to evaluate the new Pirelli tyres that are to be used by all the teams this season after they took over supply from Bridgestone.
With just a week to go ahead of the opening test at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Kolles has yet to announce his second driver.
Indian Narain Karthikeyan, who has not competed in F1 since he was with Jordan in 2005, will form one part of the team's driver line-up.
Asked about Karthikeyan's team-mate, Kolles said: "Let's see.
"The second driver has not been decided yet because we have to make sure we are making the best choice.
"We are making progress in all areas which is positive, working very hard, and the results will be shown and be announced very soon."
