Cricket-Bresnan reprimanded for hitting stumps in frustration


England player Tim Bresnan has been reprimanded for hitting his stumps in frustration during Sunday's tied World Cup match against India in Bangalore, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said on Monday.

The incident happened late in the England innings when Bresnan, after he was clean bowled, hit the stumps with his bat.
