Kobe Bryant poured in 37 points to inspire the West to a 148-143 win over the East in the NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles on Monday.
The Los Angeles Lakers guard also grabbed 14 rebounds to scoop the Most Valuable Player award for the fourth time in the mid-season showpiece.LeBron James of the Miami Heat led the East with 29 points and 12 rebounds.

The East, though, threatened to make up the deficit, but their fightback fell just short.
